This Wednesday at 1:00pm the Library hosts the first Athenaeum event for fall 2010 titled “Promoting Early Intervention for a Safer/Healthier Campus”. The WSU Behavioral Assessment & Intervention Team (B.A.I.T.) will discuss its primary mission to provide a network of support as “Students of Concern” surface in classrooms, residence halls, student activities, performances, and the greater Winona community. B.A.I.T. members work as a resource to provide guidance for faculty, staff, and administrators who may become aware or involved with a variety of behaviors that are problematic to the university’s educational mission. B.A.I.T. will discuss their role on campus and the importance of early detection, reporting and intervention.
