04/15 - It's National Library Week!

This week, April 13-19, 2014 is National Library Week.

"First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate." -American Library Association, 2014

Help us celebrate on Wednesday, April 16 @ 1pm we are serving rootbeer floats in the Library.

09/22 - Banned Books Week: Celebrating our Freedom to Read

This week is Banned Books week.  We are celebrating our freedom to read by highlighting books which have been banned or challenged.  Stop by the first floor of the Library to check out a few.  Learn why some books get challenged and share a banned book that you've read with us.
