Nature and Sustainable: From the Bluffs to the River
Bruno Borsari – Professor, Biology
Wayne (Chuck) Ripley - Professor, English

This presentation describes the experience of the river course “Nature and sustainability” that was offered last May and taught by Bruno Borsari (Biology) and Wayne Ripley (English). Emphasis is given to the four day trip on the WSU River Explorer. Students have been invited to join the instructors to share their reflections and thoughts about this challenging learning experience.

10/25 UN's Global Environmental Outlook Report (GEO-4) Released Today

The fourth report of the Global Environmental Outlook (GEO-4) was released today, October 25th, 2007, by the United Nations Environment Programme.

Sharon Mansur, a Professor in the WSU Theater Department will share her artistic and cultural experience of a two week visit to Benin, Africa in May 2007, sponsored by WSU. She will have photographs and video excerpts and will also include her personal descriptions and responses to the trip.
